Founded by award-winning architect Donald Harrington in 2010, Harrington Architecture approaches each project with insight and experience to deliver results that are functionally, financially, and environmentally successful.
We have designed a broad range of project types including single family and multi-family residential, commercial, institutional, and educational facilities. Many projects include the adaptive re-use of existing, often historical, buildings.
We are experienced in the development process and our services include architectural as well as preliminary financial feasibility studies. We help clients in determining and applying for subsidies, grants, and tax credits which may be available for energy efficiency and historic building rehab.
Many of our projects include elements of neighborhoods and communities in addition to building design. We often are involved in the concept as well as the detail design of streetscapes, signage and landscaping. We always consider how the work that is proposed affects adjacent properties and work with our clients for the best integration into the "fabric" of a community.
The Practice of Architecture seeks to give substance to the dreams and aspirations of people. Our task is to share your vision and to explore with you additional possibilities and opportunities for your project through the design process. Problem solving is what we do. We value beauty, functionality and technical innovation. We have a very broad and deep body of Architectural experience.
