This lakefront property has been owned by the family for many years and had a need to upgrade the functionality of the property to accommodate family gatherings and grandchildren. It required careful consideration of preservation of the current architectural style as well as maintaining the spaces with family memories. The solution was to add spaces that were compatible to the structure and style. A large bedroom suite and great room was tacked onto the lakeside and blended into the existing spaces. Large windows were used to allow plenty of natural light to flow into the space and for a dramatic view towards Chautauqua Lake.
