The owners requested a Victorian Gothic style roof structure with future expandable living space and gables all around. Reconfigured the ground floor and first floor from a three apartment structure to a single family home with five bedrooms. All major rooms have a direct view of Lake Chautauqua.
The property's storm water is required by the Chautauqua Institution to be retained on site. This was accomplished by installing a rain garden that naturally filters the runoff before it enters the lake.
