A fire station, turned into an inn.
This building in the Randolph Historic District began as a fire station and later served as the village municipal building. It was converted into a building with both business space and living space.
The completely renovated building contains a doctor’s office, a manager’s apartment, and an inn with two single hotel rooms and two suites.
Inside, the stair hall keeps its arches and brackets, now painted white and red. The old Village of Randolph safe stands in the first floor hall.
The work was designed to follow the rules for historic buildings, so the project could use state and federal historic tax credits.

First a fire station, then the village building. The old village safe still stands in the hall.
The entrance, the rooms, and the stair.

Room by room, the same views.
